The 3×3 School Basketball Tournament was officially launched in 2024, as part of an initiative to scout young talent and promote the fast-paced 3×3 format, which is a recognized Olympic discipline.

The tournament for middle and secondary schools concluded in late 2024 with the following results:

Tournament Goals and Context

By starting at the middle and high school levels, the BFB aims to build a strong foundation of skills—such as speed, individual ball handling, and quick decision-making—that are essential for 3×3 play. The Federation is taking 3×3 further by ensuring that basketball does not become city centric. 3×3 will soon be held in four different regions: Central, Southern and Eastern.
